Our commitments
With the Clef Verte label, Opéra Opal is actively committed to sustainable development and solidarity through an environmental charter that we share with our customers and employees. We work with local associations, measure our carbon footprint and encourage eco-actions to save water and energy and better manage waste.
In concrete terms, we favour energy-efficient equipment (LEDs, double glazing), limit water consumption (reduced starters, double flush) and make it easier for our customers to sort their waste. We reduce individual packaging, combat food waste and promote local, organic or fair-trade products.
We also take initiatives to protect biodiversity, such as installing bird nesting boxes, and ban smoking in all our areas.
Finally, we carry out regular energy audits and use environmentally-friendly cleaning products, to reinforce our commitment to more responsible tourism.
